Today’s News:

·          It isn’t too late to buy your ticket to Senior Picnic seniors!  Room is still available and tickets are only $15.00 dollars with ASB and $17.00 dollars without.  Get your permission slip in the activities office and turn it in today.  We will be meeting up on Monday, June 4th at 6:30 am to load buses.  (Robinson 5/31)

 

Senior News:

·         Attention all seniors!  You must order your final transcript to be sent to your college this week!  Do not miss this important step.  See Ms. Cervantes in G001.  (Cervantes 06/01)

 

 

·          Sober grad tickets are still for sale.  They are only $75.00 dollars with ASB and $80.00 with out ASB.  It may seem expensive now but just wait there will be….waterslides, a hypnotist,  a strolling magician, a D.J., make your own music video and get a tape of it for free, race a cop legally on the speedway, mini golf, free food and more….This is the last chance for you to be with your friends and the best part is it’s all free after you pay admission. Turn your forms in by June 1st to any member at the senior council in the activities office.  ( (Robinson5/31)

 

·          Seniors…Senior Breakfast is this Friday at the First Baptist Church of Elk Grove.  The cost is free and it begins at 8 am and goes to 10 am.  If you need directions pick up a flyer in the Activities Office.  Following breakfast is our mandatory graduation rehearsal at the at the PAC….It starts at 12 and tardiness will not be tolerated.  (Robinson 5/31)

 

Sophomores and Junior News:

·          Attention current sophomores and juniors, link crew is still in need of more link leaders!  Applications are still out in the Activities Office.  Pick one up and turn it in as soon as possible.  Make a difference and help welcome the class of 2011.  (Grivel 06/01)

 

Upcoming Events:

·         SCHOOL’S OUT!  Well, not quite yet, but the End of the Year Dance is quickly approaching and the theme is Recess: School’s Out!  The Dance will be held on Friday, June 1st from 6 pm to 9 pm and tickets are on sale NOW.  Seniors are $2, and Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are $3 w/ASB and $5 w/out, but prices go up at the door.  This dance is the FIRST CHANCE for everyone, including seniors to pick up your yearbook and have all of your friends sign it!  Yearbook will also be there selling yearbook supplies and of course, a DJ will be there so you can get your party on!  Hope to see you there!  (Marcione 05/31)

 

·         Bulletin Announcement – Monthly Giveaways Middle & High Schools Do you love Jamba Juice?  What about Round Table Pizza?  Enjoy playing mini-golf, video games, or driving go-karts?  What if you could get all of these things – free?  Sound too good to be true? Well, believe it because you could win these and other incentives – just for coming to school!  As a part of the NO EXCUSES – Go to School Attendance Campaign, the Elk Grove Unified School District is holding monthly raffles for students with perfect attendance.  All you need to do is attend all your classes for a month to be eligible for the raffle. Therefore, the next time you are thinking about missing school for the day, remember – you could be the next big winner!  (District Run rest of year Read Monday, Tuesday and Friday)

 

·         “It has finally arrived!!!!! Talent Show Videos are here! The costs of the DVD’s are $10 each and you can pick them up in Mr. Berry’s room, before school, at lunch, or after school for the rest of the school year.  Again, Talent show DVD’s are in Room 333. Only a small amount was made so it’s first come first serve!”  (Berry 05/31)

 

·         Attention ARTSWORK Academy students! This is your last reminder that community service hours in the arts are now due to your academy advisor. Turn in your original Community Service card to the office and bring a copy to your advisor ASAP. Thank you! (Howard 06/01)
