The winter sports season is officially over for Sheldon High School; however, it was another successful season.

Men’s Basketball tied for second in tough DRL action and placed Marcus Jackson and Darius Nelson on the All-League Team.  The men then went onto the Final 4 in section play.

The Wrestling team also took second in the DRL with Vance Lyons, Derek Clary, and Daniel Mulligan earning All-League honors by winning their weight classes at the DRL Championships.  Derek and Julius Wright then went on to earn trips to the California State Meet.

The Varsity Cheerleaders won the GPA championship for SHS winter sports, and their coaches and captains will be honored at tomorrow night’s EGUSD Board Meeting.

Yes, it was a great winter to be a Husky!
