Students have access to their teachers in person at five different locations throughout the district, online and by email. Parents play a critical role in the EGUSD Virtual Academy as learning coaches to support their students’ learning.
EGUSD realizes that no two students are alike. The district is offering its new online learning program to provide yet another avenue to provide the best education for all children. The EGUSD Virtual Academy is all about choice – parents and students have the freedom to customize their education, thus enhancing each family’s public education opportunities.
The EGUSD Virtual Academy is part of a free public education system. The EGUSD Virtual Academy is open to students living in Sacramento, Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Placer, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter and Yolo counties.
