EGUSD seeks public input on technology plan January 23, 2012 The Elk Grove Unified School District is seeking input from the public on its revised Technology Plan for 2012-2015. Over the past several months, district staff have been working to create a Draft Technology Plan for 2012-2015 for review by stakeholders and members of the community. California Education Code requires school districts to have a three to five year technology plan as a condition of receiving any technology grant administered by the California Department of Education after January 1, 2002. At Elk Grove Unified, subsequent grants and the Erate program have required the district to modify our technology plan every three years. The district’s current plan expires on June 30, 2012. Click here for more information about the Erate program. Elk Grove Unified welcomes comments and suggestions about the draft technology plan. District staff will revise the draft technology plan appropriately and present the plan to the EGUSD Board of Education for public discussion, comment and approval prior to June 30, 2012.
