Laguna Creek High School takes home top awards at 2nd Annual SMUD Northern California Solar Regatta
Students in Laguna Creek High School’s Green Energy Technology Academy (GETA) took home four of the top awards at the 2nd Annual Northern California Solar Regatta, sponsored by SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utilities Agency) on Friday, May 17 at Rancho Seco Lake.

EGUSD selected for statewide Common Core State Standards grant
The Elk Grove Unified School District has been selected as a recipient of a Math in Common grant from the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation to support EGUSD’s faithful implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Mathematics for K-8 students.
