California-Japan Scholars Program participants!  Are you ready for the Japan trip?

SCHOOL NEWS
Attention all students: Sacramento Public Libraries will be closed today due to staff furloughs. The library will not be open after school this Friday.  Please plan accordingly.   (Lew)

Attention students who enrolled in AP World History for next year.  Please monitor the school website for your summer work.  Read the information carefully before you send emails with questions.  Thank you—the AP World History police.

Attention all 9th, 10th 11th grade students:  Franklin High School will be offering a credit recovery summer program from June 4th- June 25th 2012. Classes will be offered in English, Math, Science and Social Science. If you have received a D or an F in one of these classes, please go to Student Services to pick up an application for the Summer Credit Recovery program.  (Nickerson)

Attention students with work permits.  All currently issued work permits will expire on the last day of school, May 21st.  If you are continuing to work your current job over the summer, you must see Mrs. Courtwright in Student Services no later than TODAY to extend your work permit.  You do not need to fill out a new application if you are continuing with your current job.  Graduating Seniors and/or students 18 years of age will not require a summer work permit. New summer work permits will be processed by the FHS Admin office after May 21st.    (Courtwright)
