ORIGINAL SCRIPT

Due the day before the Final

OBJECTIVE: Write a five to ten page script for a short narrative film that you could produce this summer with your friends. (You do not have to make this video, you are only receiving points for the script.)

NOTE: No more than two people can receive credit for this. Co-writers will split the points possible.

PROCEDURE: Brainstorm different ideas. Think about people you know who could appear in the film. Review the Three Act Structure article. Construct a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Type your script in the proper script format. Review the link below.

GRADING CRITERIA:

• Must be in typed and in the proper script format and is five to ten pages long. (40%)

• Story has a three act structure, with a beginning, middle, and end. (40%)

• The story is entertaining. (20%)

• No more than two people can receive credit for this. Co-writers will split the points possible.

• Place a copy of the finished script on the server in the Extra Credit folder and inform your teacher that you have submitted it. Must be turned in the day before the final.
