In this assignment you will learn script writing format. 

Review the section on script writing before you begin. 

Also, take a look at a real scripts at look at how they

Here is the scenario you will use to practice writing :

 

Two people leave the classroom on their way to get lunch. They are going to buy
a drink and sandwich. Get them from the classroom to a lunch table with their food.


Open Microsoft Word to write your script. USE the font TIMES and set the size to 12 POINTS. Please note that italics and bold are not used. Make sure your name and period is at the top of the paper.  Do NOT print out your script. Save it on the server. Start your script following the cues exactly as you see it below and then continue it to the end.

Title: The Cafeteria

FADE IN <-transitions (CAPITALIZED and use left alignment)

INT. COMPUTER CLASSROOM, DAYTIME BEFORE LUNCH  <-Explains location, time (CAPITALIZED and use left alignment)  

ANDY(CAPITALIZED and 3.5" from left)
Boy, am I hungry. Let’s get to the cafeteria!  (centered)

MIKE
how to read the dialogue-> (sadly)  (centered)
I don’t have any money. I’ll borrow some. Let’s go.

Both boys get up from their seats and walk quickly towards the door. Andy’s money falls out of his backpack.  Mike picks it up. Both exit and walk towards the cafeteria. <-shows action (Use left alignment)

This is the same example without the green or red directions used above. This shows how the script should look with proper left, centered and capitalized formatting.

and walk towards the cafeteria.
