| Create a tightly edited, quick-paced Trailer of Trailers.
GOAL: Your task is to prepare a 100 second Trailer of Trailers using Final Cut Express. Use ONLY school appropriate movie trailers.
Project Segments:
A) 5 second Project Title/Intro w/music
B) For EACH of the three movies you select, follow this sequence:
1 seconds of the movie's ratings
1 seconds of Trailer 1's distributor (i.e. Fox, Columbia, TriStar)
23 seconds of movie trailer you have edited down from the original trailer.
5 seconds of at least 3 words or phrases moving around (use key frames) over a black screen that describe the movie (i,.e. Stunning; You'll Laugh Until You Cry; Ghastly; Impeccable Acting) with movie music playing.
C) 5 seconds of credits that read (include music):

You must finish with 100 seconds of work. The 100 seconds contains:
1) Your 5 second intro to the project
2) 90 seconds of the three trailers, each of the three following the sequence and timing in B above.
3) 5 seconds of credits
Grading:
For Segment A: 10 Points
For Segment B: 60 Points (20 for each trailer)
For Segment C: 10 Points
Finish 1 movie and intro and credits: Possible C grade
Finish 2 movies and intro and credits: Possible B grade
Finish 3 movies and intro and credits: Possible A grade
Points will be deducted for:
- Going over or under the 100 seconds goal
- Going over or under the individual trailer segment times
- Uneven audio
- Sloppy editing
- Lack of transitions before, after and between segments A, B and C and between the three trailers
- Inappropriate trailer and scene selections
