Due the day before the Final

OBJECTIVE: Write a five page script for a short narrative film that you could produce in the second term. (You do not have to make this video, you are only receiving points for the script.)

PROCEDURE: Brainstorm different ideas. Think about people you know who could appear in the film. Review the Three Act Structure article. Construct a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. The film should be set in locations that you think you could get access to. Type your script in the proper script format using Celtx.

GRADING CRITERIA:

• Must be in typed in Celtx following the proper script format and is five pages long. (40%)

• Story has a three act structure, with a beginning, middle, and end. (40%)

• The story is entertaining. (20%)

• The story can be realistically shot with the resources you have available.

• Place a copy of the finished script on the server in the Extra Credit folder and inform your teacher that you have submitted it. Must be turned in the day before the final.
