| The Florin High Social Science Department is dedicated to exposing our diverse student body to the stories of past civilizations, cultures, religions, and current political events. In addition, we examine our own history and the connection we have with the rest of the world. Members of our department use the California Content Standards as a guide in making the study of history meaningful. We strive to promote student learning through differentiated instruction and critical thinking activities. |
