Cisco CCNA Program (Half-Time) (20 wks)

Four semesters of Cisco curriculum at the BTTI

Cisco Training Academy - Students can enroll in an individual semester or all four semesters.

NOTE: Students wishing to enroll in our Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Program may do so by combining the above Career Training Programs with Evening Professional Classes or directly through the Professional Training Program.

 


Module Descriptions


Computer Hardware and Software Basics Module (4 wks/130 hrs)

Includes academic skills refresher; introduction to hardware & software components and how they relate and configurations.

 

Storage, Multimedia & Software Module (4 wks/130 hrs)

Install, support and diagnose storage devices, I/O devices; multimedia; support DOS, Windows 9x, NT and 2000 operating systems.

 

Communications, Printers & Network Module (4 wks/130 hrs)

Operation, support and repair for local and remote printers; introduction to the fundamentals of networking, PC trouble shooting and repair, CompTIA A+ test preparation.

 

NET+ Module (4 wks/130 hrs)

Identify, understand and implement network components, protocols, access methods, media, tools and standards required to prepare students for the CompTIA Net+ Certification Test.

MCP Module (4 wks/130 hrs)

Includes Windows 2000 courses needed to qualify as a Microsoft Certified Professional, includes course work in Windows 2000 professional and server products.

Includes Windows 2000 classes needed to qualify as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, course includes Professional Server and Network Administration plus exam preparation.

Cisco CCNA Modules – Half-time Day Program - (20 wks/320 hrs) 

Four semester modules.  Each module runs Monday through Thursday, 1-5 PM for 5 weeks.  Students may enroll in one module as needed or the entire program.

Externship Module (4 wks)

Provides non-paid on the job contact with employers. Students gain valuable work experience in their area of study. Open to graduates only.
